wordofgodpart1-600“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

If we live by the word of God then we must make it our daily food. What joy, what peace, what power would come if God might help us read the Scriptures!

We wanted to provide you with a bible reading plan for 2014 so that you might renew your mind according to the word in this new year. This plan will take you through the entire Bible in one year. It spreads out your reading so that you are continually reading in four different sections of the Bible. It also gives you about five days at the end of each month to catch up if you fall behind.

We encourage you to not only read the Bible, but then meditate on a given section, journal down some thoughts, and pray to the Lord concerning the passage.

At the bottom of the page you can download the reading plan. You can print it off an use them as bookmarks. If you print front and back, then you will have four bookmarks for the whole year. May the Lord bless you in the reading of his mighty word.

I want to know one thing, the way to heaven; how to land safe on that happy shore. God Himself has condescended to teach the way; for this very end He came from heaven. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God!  – John Wesley
